Larry Kelley
Investment Board Member
Larry Kelley is on the Investment Board of Moneta Ventures Fund II and Fund III, and has been involved in real estate for more than 45 years. Larry is an active real estate developer and investor, with properties in Northern California. He and his team are the owners and developers of McClellan Park and the downtown Railyards, two of the region’s most impactful developments.
Larry and his team developed the vision for McClellan Park and proceeded to execute an adaptive reuse plan that created a job-generating industrial park. McClellan Park is one of the most successful military base conversions in the United States and has over 300 tenants, 8,500,000 square feet of space, and 500 acres of developable land. The Railyards located in downtown Sacramento is 200 acres, and will have over 6,000 residential units, and 5,000,000 square feet of office, retail, and commercial space, including a new Kaiser Hospital. A new major league soccer stadium is also being planned there.
Larry is active in numerous charities and associations. He is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, a member of ACRE (Association of Commercial Real Estate), a member of Advisory Board of U.S. Bank, and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Aerospace Museum of California. He was also previously chairman of the Sacramento Council of the Urban Land Institute, President of the Building Industry Association of Superior California, Director of the Placer County Child Abuse Prevention Council, and an investor in the Sacramento Kings.
