Market Perspective

Navigating the AI Reset

Software is not disappearing but the rules of the game are changing. AI is resetting how value is created and captured, compressing multiples and raising the bar for every company. Here is how we are thinking about it.

New for 2026

Investing in New Technologies

We had the opportunity to invest in two new portfolio companies so far in 2026. Meet the teams building the innovative technology we are helping move forward.

Argon builds AI-powered humanoid robots and robotic arms for precision manufacturing. Its Argon One humanoid and SCARA arm use interchangeable tool heads for laser cutting, milling, and pick-and-place across electronics, pharma, and consumer goods.

Portfolio Spotlight

Building Innovative Companies

We are excited to highlight several Moneta portfolio companies continuing to build momentum across fundraising, commercial growth, and market validation.

Growth

App Orchid

More than 95% of enterprise AI pilots die before production. App Orchid is the context layer that gets them across the line, powering large enterprises including Fidelity, CBRE, and American Water.
AO’s patented Managed Semantic Object platform curates deep knowledge graphs across 250+ enterprise data sources, giving LLMs and agents the context they need to be accurate. Benchmarked at 98% accuracy, the platform also delivers enterprise-scale security, identity propagation, full auditability, and sovereignty — solving the biggest problems in enterprise AI today. App Orchid is open and multimodal, keeping enterprises independent of any single LLM, with an architecture that minimizes token usage to cut latency and cost. Its compatibility with agentic protocols enables adoption across diverse use cases. A context layer wider than the warehouse, deeper than semantics. Raising Series B in H1 2027.

Founder Spotlight

Why founders choose Moneta

We invest early and stay close. Here is what the founders we back say about partnering with Moneta.

What sets Moneta apart is that they have built companies themselves, so when we hit a hard problem, they are not guessing at the answer — they have genuinely lived it. They show up as true partners, not just people who write checks and wait for updates.

Chirag Jindal

Co-Founder & CEO, Plutus

Kara Anderson

Co-Founder & COO, Plutus

Moneta backs founders who are building hard things. Precision robotics is a very hard thing. They are true operators, they see the full vision, and they show up at the moments that matter for your business. We are building an industry-defining business and Moneta is the perfect partner to do this with.

Zaib Husain

Co-Founder & Chair, Argon

Amir Husain

Co-Founder, Argon

A lot of venture investors say they are there to add value, but Moneta actually operates that way. They show up for the unglamorous, technical, in-the-weeds decisions and have made critical supply chain and investor introductions for us that fundamentally changed the business. That kind of roll up your sleeves partnership is rare, and it has made all the difference for our company, Kora. They are also extremely enjoyable to work with which matters a lot when you face the many challenges a business will face when scaling.
